Messages
Conversations between staff and families that belong to the person in care, under the same rules that decide who may see and collect them.

Who uses it
- Staff
- Message the family and authorized adults of a person in your care, from the inbox or straight from a pickup, so whoever picks the conversation up next can see what was already said.
- Families
- Message the staff who work with the person they care for from the same app they use for pickup, without hunting for a phone number or an email address.
Where it appears
- Assure Staff on the web
- The location's conversations in one inbox, for staff at a desk or on a tablet.
- Assure Staff
- Reply on the go, between the room and the pickup line.
- Assure, for families
- The family's conversations with staff, next to their pickups.
Tied to the person, not to a phone number
A text to a staff member’s personal phone is a conversation the organization cannot see, cannot hand over when that person is out, and cannot find later. In Messages, every conversation belongs to the person in care. Staff who pick it up next see what was already said, and nothing is locked in one person’s pocket.
Each adult has their own thread
A conversation is between staff and one authorized adult, about one person. Two guardians each have their own thread, so separated parents never read each other’s messages, and a new staff member sees the whole history with each of them.
A separate permission from pickup
Being allowed to collect someone is not the same as being allowed to read every conversation about them. InzuCare keeps the two permissions apart: a grandparent can be approved for pickup without joining the conversation. When an authorization changes, what that adult can see changes on their next request.
How staff appear to families
Each organization chooses how staff are named to families: by first name and initial, such as “Emily C.”, or simply as the staff of that location. Families get a reply from the right place either way, and staff never have to hand out a personal number to be reachable.
Works on its own or alongside what you already use
Messages runs without any other module. If you already coordinate pickup another way, or keep documentation elsewhere, Messages still gives families and staff a conversation that is tied to the right person and visible only to the right adults.
Alongside Handoff, a family’s messages and their pickups sit on the same record, which is usually where “running late, Sam is collecting today” belongs.
Every module sits on the same core: your roster, the adults authorized for each person and what each may do, their approved photos, your locations, and your staff accounts. Add another module later and it uses that same record. How the platform fits together
Other modules
- Handoff Pickup and departure: adults approved in advance, a live queue, a pickup code, and a photo or ID check before anyone is released.
- Notes Service notes with signature and co-signature, amendments instead of edits, and voids that are never deletes.
- Progress Goals, observations and progress reports built from the data, not from recollection.
- Schedules Staff shifts, availability and time off, groups, the calendar and ways home, with conflicts flagged before they reach the floor.
Start with Messages, or add it to what you run
Tell us which module you need first. We switch modules on for your organization, so adding another later is a setting, not a migration.
